Treating Yourself Medical Marijuana & Hemp Expo- see you there, eh?

Looking forward to the Canadian Premiere of Jack Herer's Emperor Wears No Clothes short documentary in Toronto at the 1st Annual Treating Yourself Medical Marijuana & Hemp Expo!

If Jack Herer, were still alive today, he wouldn't be allowed into Canada, because a long time ago Customs shook a gram of shake out of his pockets on his way back into the States... our other Executive Producer, Eddy Lepp, won't be able to attend this special event, because he is currently serving 10 years in Federal Prison for his compliance with California medical Marijuana laws... Canadian Marc Emery was extradited to an American prison for reasons I'm not totally clear on and is currently a political prisoner and Canadian Rick Simpson is in political exile in the Czech Republic somewhere for curing cancer with a natural plant.

I am glad that I am Free Enough to still cross borders and will continue to spread Jack Herer's message of the Truth about Cannabis Hemp Marijuana, its history and its many uses. Join us in person and online July 16-18 to represent those Freedom Fighters who cannot be with us. Thanks to Marco Renda & Treating Yourself Magazine for providing the backdrop for history to be made!

WHEE Rocked Tehama!

As promised, here is the unpublished Letter to The Editor of the Red Bluff Daily News, written by Donna Will & Jerry Doran of High Times' WHEE Fest:

Letter To The Editor:

I would like to thank Sheriff Clay Parker, and all the agencies who chose to work together. Now Tehama County has a safe and working ordinance for future festivals upholding our rights as American citizens to peaceably assemble.

The World Hemp Expo Extravaganja Festival promotes education on the True History of Hemp and its many uses through Music, Film & Freedom of Expression. By gathering open-minded people in the name of World Peace, we hope to end the senseless drug war and honor all of our Freedom Fighters. Inspired by The Rainbow Family's creed, WHEE Festival was reborn Memorial Weekend 2010 and continues in the name of Peace, Love and Freedom.

Thanks to the hundreds of volunteers, local supporters and sponsors who gave their time and resources to make sure that WHEE 2010 was a huge success! We are pleased to have received positive feedback and well wishes from around the globe and are honored to have served as a model for International Peacekeeping.

Best wishes to Sheriff Parker in the upcoming Tuesday election. It was not easy to uphold the law while strongly opposed by much of the community. The rights of ALL were at stake. I hope it is Sheriff Clay Parker who will be respectfully governing law enforcement in our County’s future. Hope to see everyone exercise their right to vote this Tuesday, June 8th at the polls!

Please support our Kickstarter Fundraising Campaign!

Thanks everyone for your continued support of Jack Herer's Emperor Wears No Clothes!

As many of you are already aware, we lost the great Civil Rights Activist, Jack Herer on April 15, 2010. In an effort to continue his message and release the feature length version of the documentary that he and I began co-directing in the summer of last year, we have launched Phase 1 of our Kickstarter Fundraising Campaign:

The goal of Phase 1 is to raise $4200 to continue the Hemp Can Save The Planet social action campaign and print the Limited Edition Fundraising Soundtrack of Music From & Inspired By Jack Herer's Emperor Wears No Clothes, to be released at the 1st Treating Yourself Expo in Toronto, Canada (July 16-18, 2010). Any additional funds raised will go towards Phase 2 Fundraising of $22k in order to continue filming the feature documentary based on Jack Herer's best-selling Hemp book, The Emperor Wears No Clothes, so please give generously to this Truly "Grass" Roots movement.

Jack Herer's message of the Truth about Cannabis, Hemp & Marijuana has been carried forward by fellow Freedom Fighters around the globe. We need your support now more than ever.

Thanks to the global community for helping to keep Jack Herer's legacy alive.
