#ProhibitionIsOver!

Dated July 4th, 2012:

Reminding all nations that the current Scheduling (I) of Cannabis indicates that the controlled substance contains “no medical value”,

Fully aware that the 1937 Prohibition of Cannabis Hemp has been scientifically and historically proven to be based on a series of lies debunked since then,

Alarmed by the environmental disaster presented by the nuclear meltdown of Fukushima and its continuing repercussions to our environment and wildlife;

Taking into account that Industrial Hemp has been used successfully for over 20 years to phytoremediate the damage of Chernobyl,

Recognizing the United States Federal Government currently holds two patents stating the medicinal value of Cannabis as an antioxidant and neuroprotectant;

Further recalling that the United States Federal Government continues to supply Federal Medical Marijuana to four living patients through the Compassionate Investigational New Drug Study Program of 1976; and

Taking into further consideration there are currently seventeen States and the District of Columbia that recognize the medical value of Cannabis through legislation;

Emphasizing the many nations that have already seen decreases in crime with their decriminalization of Cannabis and other controlled substances,

We The People of the known Universe, hereby Resolve that Prohibition is Over.

1.Encourage the Truth about Cannabis Hemp to be included back in the history and medical textbooks

2. Call for meaningful consideration of Industrial Hemp as a solution to the global nuclear crisis in Fukushima.

3.Call for the release of all prisoners of the unconstitutional “War on Drugs” currently in custody for Cannabis Hemp.

4.  Stress the continuing need for impartial and objective information on the economic and social solutions potentially provided by Cannabis Hemp.
